This Privacy Policy describes how "YouTube Notifications" collects and stores user's data.

By using the browser extension, "YouTube Notifications", you agree to the terms and conditions of this privacy policy. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy without prior notice.

Information Collected

Once the browser extension receives an authentication token from YouTube's Data API authorized by the user, the browser extension will only use that token to collect the user's subscription information from YouTube's Data API. Otherwise, the subscription information is collected from the user inputting the channels manually. We do not track or collect any anonymous tracking information from the user.

The user can also request an extended token where the user will grant modification access to the extension. This token is used to add videos to a playlist chosen by the user.

Both tokens are completely optional and this extension does not require the user to login with their Google account.

Security of Collected Data

The data collected by the browser extension, "YouTube Notifications" is collected from YouTube's Data API servers using HTTPS and its data is stored locally. Your data will not be sent to any remote servers or destinations.
